    EngagedLeadership is a high-end executive boutique coaching firm. General Manager is a new role created to support the rapid growth of our 10-year-old company.

    We provide Executive Coaching and Leadership Training to many of the world's top companies, including Activision, Glassdoor, Ancestry, Autodesk, MSG Entertainment, and Lucasfilm. Also, we have a long list of start-ups and fast-growing organizations on our roster. Our clients are successful leaders with big responsibilities. They rely on us to help them hear the messages no one else can or will provide and then to partner with them to grow and learn.

    We are primarily a work-from-home virtual office with an administrative team of 6 and a powerful base of over 40 world-class executive coaches and facilitators.

    This Job in a nutshell

    As the General Manager, you will have an opportunity to make a significant contribution in the following ways wholeheartedly:

    CULTURE PROTECTION

    • Ensuring our staff, coaches, and clients are experiencing a high-touch, high-class experience throughout their entire journey with us. 
    • Protecting the brand's "voice" as internal and external facing communications are created

    MAINTAINING OPERATIONAL INTEGRITY OF THE DAY-TO-DAY

    • Creation, upholding, and simplifying sustainable day-to-day systems
    • Management of staff, coaches, and clients
    • Partner with executive team
    • Supporting staff in times of surge 

    SUPPORTING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

    • Creation or oversight of proposals to our high-level clients
    • Approval of client and coach agreements

    GENERAL ADMINISTRATION

    • Payroll, invoicing, auditing, reporting
    • Hiring & onboarding, and arranging training of new coaches & staff
    • Project management

    • Have 5+ years of professional experience managing systems, staff, and clients
    • Thrive at creating order from chaos by regularly reprioritizing & context switching
    • Have a service-oriented attitude. Always want to go above and beyond for your team, the coaches, and the client.
    • Possess a need for accuracy and organization that makes others think you are insane: Searching for the missing penny in a spreadsheet, ProOfReadig & editing, building operational processes, etc
    • The successful applicant will have a history of being able to “see around corners” to help solve problems before they arise
    • Have a working knowledge of Mac iOS, Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Suite, Adobe Suite, Constant Contact/MailChimp, Dropbox, CRM Software/HubSpot
    • Can brainstorm solutions to challenges that most people would deem impossible
    • Enjoy a start-up, fast-paced, roll-up your sleeves, all-hands-on-deck mentality

    COMPENSATION: $70,000 - $85,000 Per Year 

    START DATE: When the right candidate comes forward (Preferably June/July) 

    WHERE: Work from home. (Ability to commute to our Midtown NYC office once a week is highly preferred but not required)

    HOURS: Full-Time / Monday Through Friday / Occasional non-traditional and weekend hours required
